We are thrilled to announce the Beethoven String Trios Marathon!

Following their highly acclaimed performance of Bach’s Goldberg Variations last season, the Jigsaw String Trio returns to JPCS for an extraordinary Beethoven challenge.

This time, they will perform Beethoven’s complete string trios, presented across two concerts on the same day.

From the youthful Op. 3 to the remarkable three Op. 9 trios, the marathon traces Beethoven’s extraordinary development as a chamber composer.

The music will be interspersed with readings from Beethoven’s letters, offering glimpses into the young composer’s world, ambitions and artistic voice.
