Aviva Community Fund

Dear Supporters,

We are delighted to announce that Jigsaw Players' Concert Series' application to the Aviva Community Fund has been accepted to go through the public voting round.

If we gain enough votes, we will be put through to the final round where a panel of judges will decide whether we merit an award of anything up to £25,000. 

If we were fortunate to receive any kind of award we would plan to put it towards offering more free concerts and workshops as part of our Jigsaw Juniors programme, bringing music to the young of the borough of Merton, plus we would hope to be able to extend our work to a Jigsaw Seniors programme and, in a brand new development, give mini-concerts in homes where music-loving residents may not be in a position to travel to one of our usual concert venues.

Where in the world is the Jigsaw Team? Part 2

The Jigsaw Players' team is working hard putting the finishing touch on our upcoming season, whilst being in four different corners of Europe! 

Featured in Part 2 of our "Where in the world is the Jigsaw Team?", is our Founding Artistic Director, Emmanuella Reiter. 

Whilst still unable to play due to several hand and shoulder injuries, Emmanuella was nonetheless able to teach in the Académie Internationale d'Eté de Nice. In her free time, she has been alternating Jigsaw planning, being a mum to her 4 1/2 year old daughter and enjoying all that her hometown of Nice has to offer: the beach, the sun, the markets and sometimes gives in to the best ice cream in town, Arlequin Gelati! 

Where in the world is the Jigsaw Team? Part 1

The Jigsaw Players' team is working hard putting the finishing touch on our upcoming season, whilst being in four different corners of Europe! 

Featured here in Part 1 of "Where in the world is the Jigsaw Team?" is Sophia Rahman, one of our Co-Directors and fantastic pianist, who is currently enjoying a quick study getaway in Lauslasmaa (which poetically means "Song Land") in Estonia in between teaching and playing in the Järvi Academy in Tallinn by day and Jigsawing away by night!

Gala Evening Early Bird Special

A little taster for saturday's concert...

A taster for Saturday 1st July's concert at St Matthew's Church as part of the MyRaynesPark Festival.

Two of Jigsaw's talented artists, Maria Włoszczowska and Sophia Rahman in Ravel's Piece en forme d'Habanera.

Also on the programme, Bartok's Romanian Dances. Then joined by the wonderful Matthew Huber they will perform Mendelssohn and Faure's celebrated piano trios.

Three Co-Artistic Directors appointed

We are thrilled to announce that Jenny Lewisohn, Kaija Lukas and Sophia Rahman have been appointed Co-Artistic Directors and join Founding Artistic Director of the Jigsaw Players Emmanuella Reiter

Jigsaw is back!

The Jigsaw Players are thrilled to announce that the series will be back for the 2017/18 season. Running from September to June, the season will be filled with fantastic concerts as well as other events.

We will formally announce our season at our concert on Saturday 1st July at St Matthew's Church, SW20 0DE. For more details about these concerts please click here.
